STEVE SKINNER
Steve is an Atlanta native and member of First Baptist Avondale Estates for more than 50 years prior to its merger with Gospel Hope. During that time he held every office other than Director of Women's Missionary Union. He grew up in the Methodist tradition but only encountered (and accepted) Christ at age 23. He has been married to Sandy for over 52 years; they have three sons and twenty grandchildren. Steve has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Emory University. He retired from AT&T after 35 years and has devoted his time since then to volunteer work, church, family, and mission work in West Africa.
