MARCUS THORNE
Raised in North Carolina and Georgia, Marcus responded to God’s call to relationship at an early age. He is a graduate of MIT (BS, Urban Studies & Planning) and Wheaton College (MA, Interdisciplinary Studies). While an undergrad, he wrestled with—and by God’s grace, eventually overcame—significant doubts about the faith. He lived in and served Chicago’s Westside for 20 years before returning to Georgia in 2020. He has been leading and training for over 30 years, and Jesus keeps him through it all. Husband of Nichole and father of four wonderful children, Marcus’ greatest joy is leading his family.
