Carlos Abreu was raised by his Christian mother Estela who faithfully took him to church with his siblings and at 12 years old in 1992, he trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior during a evangelistic conference. At the age of 16, the Lord called him to the pastoral ministry and in 1997, he went to a Christian University in the U.S. where he completed a B.A. in Pastoral Theology with a minor in Biblical Counseling and a M.A. in Theology. After seminary training, he returned to the Dominican Republic and a year later in 2003, God led him to plant Iglesia Pacto de Gracia in the rural community of Pica Pica, San Cristobal which he pastored for 18 years. In 2021, the Lord sent him along with Pastor Karel Suarez and Pastor Manuel Sanchez to plant Iglesia Ciudad de Gracia where he is presently serving as one of the pastors. Part of his ministry in Ciudad de Gracia is preaching and leading the men's ministry, local outreach, and leadership development of the church.
