Irmiyaa grew up going to church every Sunday, but he didn’t embrace the gospel until much later when he was in his twenties. Encountering Jesus radically changed Irmiyaa’s life and not long after being saved, the Lord called him into ministry. He and wife, Ashley, along with their four children, have spent the last six years in Clarkston, Georgia working among refugees and international students. Despite facing challenges, their time in Clarkston was a great source of joy and it was during this time, that Irmiyaa began pursuing his Mdiv from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Recently, the Lord called Irmiyaa and his family to church planting where they hope to reach the Emory community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
